i have always wondered about the fluent cantonese speaking caucasian in all those tvb series. i always thought u would have grown up in hk to be able to speak so fluently, but after reading about u (and discovering that u have a blog) little do i know that u went to live in hk in your early 20s. it must have been a great effort to pick up a foreign language so well as an adult, very impressive.

i did figured out that you're an australian from your accent when speaking in english. right now i am writing to u from sydney as i live and grew up here.

you're the first tv actor i've written to, as i know alot of artists would just have their assistant replying to fan mails. if u do reply, i am sure it would be from u personally.

i remember that yrs ago u starred in a hk movie (yes movie not tv series) with another caucasian, cant remember the name of the movie it was long time ago, but think its a comedy. i remember u had quite a major role there or was even the main character? after that i never really see u in such roles again, pity. but u kept yourself in the industry throughout all these yrs. keep it up.

I am really appreciate that you try hard in learning cantonese.
Some of my classmates do not put much efforts on learning after they had
faced difficulties.
And I would like to ask you some questions .
Do you have any nickname and are you called "hokwokwing" in Australia?
How to learn english efficiently? (I don't know many vocabularies)
I know that you have 10 dogs. Do your family like them all?

Watching 上海傳奇 at the moment just over half way thru the series..dont really want to comment on the storyline...
just wondering if there was anything interesting incidents that happened during the filming process that you can share?!

I know your blog from the Sun, a newspaper. Like other Hong Kong people, I have watched many TV Drama presented by you. You attitude towards learning chinese should be highly appreciated, and your preformance are very nice. ^.^
By the way, On the 30th, August, 2005 , I saw you taking photos in the HK DisneyLand, am I right?
